How my journey began

the creative type

with an affinity for photography + interior styling + Do-It-Yourself attitude

Lacy started playing around with a film camera years ago and has been upgrading cameras ever since. She loves experimenting with photography and editing styles. You could say home renovation is in her blood and her husband’s (Reed) too, for that matter. Her childhood home was a fixer upper that her parents DIYed extensively. She has very detailed memories of installing insulation and just how much it itches. And the very hard lesson she learned that copper pipe gets incredibly hot while you’re soldering. Reed pretty much grew up on a construction site helping his dad. They started exploring interiors shortly after getting married. They lived in a tiny apartment and a bold gallery wall began their interior journey together. She started sharing these passions with the world after the birth of their first daughter.

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet. I hope to inspire you to start creating a home that you love right now, right where you are, in the current home you’re in. Don’t wait for that dream house or even that next house. In fact, we are in the middle of construction and I’m still here creating a lil’ slice of home…with a hammer in one hand, a candle in the other and two toddlers running around my feet.

“there is beauty in the process… it’s okay if your life and your home are currently under construction.” -LH
